Concept for Resource an reference division

Equity Foundation Resource and documentation centre, was started in 2000 on a small scale basis with the aim of providing information and documentation support to the scholars, researchers, planners and development agencies through sharing and exchange of information material.

The Center now boasts about 7,000 volumes - books, conference/seminars papers, research reports, journal articles and other publications in the field of gender studies/ globalization/ poverty/ education/ media/ IT/ population/ Panchayati Raj/ SHG.

A number of brochures, annual reports, newsletters, EPW Reports, Seminar, Government publications from Planning Commission, and publications from ministries as well as World Bank, UNESCAP, UNESCO, UNDP, UNFPA, CEDPA, SIDA, CIDA, BRIDGE, ELDIS, IDS and several other international organisations are also available for reference.

Services:
• Provides reference and information dissemination to users,
• Provides newspaper clippings on gender issues.

The materials will be available both in the form of actual texts and CDs against the payment of a pre-decided amount. We hereby invite virtually everyone with an academic bent of mind to avail the resources provided by us.
